Proposed strategic lines of action

Working Group I - Social and environmental services, property, wood and industry
Strategic line of action 1: Increasing the area that is covered with forest vegetation
	Goal: The forests should occupy more of the surface of Romania, the aim being to extend the forest vegetation on as many surfaces with potential forest use as possible
Strategic line of action 2: Continuous provision of ecosystem services
	Goal: The forest continuously fulfills its functions at a level that is established as mandatory and agreed by the society, and the necessary exceedances of this level are specified and actively supported
Strategic line of action 3: Increasing the socio-cultural role of forests

Strategic line of action 8: Increasing the role and adaptability of research in the forestry sector
	Goal: Applied research brings obvious benefits in forestry practice, addressing current issues of priority in the sector.
Strategic line of action 9: Regular and sustained consultation of the stakeholders
	Goal: Developing a mechanism for consulting those interested in the forestry sector in order to communicate, evaluate and adjust the forestry policy.
