The process will be conducted by forming focus groups coordinated by two rapporteurs with the aid of a secretariat. In each focus group there are three topics, as follows:

• The Socio-economic group
  • Topics:
    • Environmental and social services
    • Forest ownership
    • Wood and forestry industry
• The Environment group
  • Topics:
    • Climate change and adaptation of forests to the current climatic context
    • Biodiversity and protected areas
    • Functionality, condition of forests and the reconstruction of degraded ecosystems
• The Governance group
  • Topics:
    • Regulations and funding
    • Forestry administration
    • Education, research and communication

The registered participants for each topic will get the chance of contributing with their own ideas and opinions and of partaking in all related activities.
